AutoComplete does not work due to matching data in another block.
Cause:
The matching entry is not in the same block as the new entry. Data entries are considered to be in the same block when there are no blank rows or columns in between.
Solution:
Delete the blank rows and/or columns between the entries.
To delete a blank row or column:
1) Select any cell of the row or column to be deleted. (The cell is highlighted.)
2) Select the 'Edit' menu and select 'Delete...'. (The Delete dialog box appears.)
3) Select the 'Entire Row' or the 'Entire Column' radio button.
4) Click 'OK'.
SHORTCUT: Click on the reference for the column or row to be deleted. Click on the right mouse button and select 'Delete' from the shortcut menu.
NOTE: To delete multiple columns or rows, select the desired number of rows or columns on the worksheet and follow steps 2) through 4) above.
